The Walsun 100G QSFP28AOC Active Optical Cable is a quad-channel, pluggable, parallel, fiber optic QSFP + SR4 100 or 40 Gigabit Ethernet, Infiniband FDR/ EDR and applications. This optical module is a high-performance module for short-range multi-lane data communications and interconnect applications. It incorporates four data lanes in each direction with a bandwidth of 100 Gbps. each lane can run at 28.05 Gbps using OM3 fiber or 100 m using OM4 fiber up to 70 m. These modules are designed to use a multimode fiber system with a nominal wavelength of 850 nm. The electrical interface uses 38 contact edge type connectors. The optical interface uses 12 fiber optic MTP (MPO) connectors.
